the Nicholas K S/S15 collection was simply breathtaking to watch. the collection on a whole had a very bohemian vibe with obvious military influences which is shown with the use of leather and earthy colours.
LOVE: the use of floaty light materials, with particular attention to layering creating texture within the outfits, this is helped by the use of leather belts, horse hair jewellery and headscarf’s.
The BCBG Max Azria collection has a floaty, ethereal feel with a mixture of nude and pastel colours and long 70’s and Greek inspired silhouettes.
LOVE: the colour pallet along with the famine floaty quality of the dresses within the collection.
The Jay Godfrey S/S15 collection wasn’t shown on a catwalk but as more of an art installation, with the models posing as if they were manikins while a country rock band played in the centre.
Love: the bohemian cowgirl inspired collection had obvious influences from 60’s and 70’s rock with classic silhouettes and the use of lace, fringe and patterns, making it a fresh young and contemporary collection.
