I’m a photographer based in Thatcham at the moment, near Reading. I mainly photograph rural and urban environment’s and the traces left upon them. I’m aiming to work in photography in some way, whether it will be me primarily making my own work and freelancing or working for someone, just gotta keep persevering and hopefully get somewhere.

Then: Harry Potter by J K Rowling

I remember when I used to get it at midnight and read like half the book straight away, good times.

Now: I am Zlatan Ibrahimovic by David Lagercrantz and Zlatan Ibrahimović

I recently read this book and I’m not usually interested in football autobiographies because most of them are awful, however this is an interesting and honest read that gives you a good insight into the footballing world.

Coming Up: A Song of Ice and Fire, Winds of Winter by George R. R. Martin

..when it’s released which will hopefully be next year.

Then: Rust Never Sleeps by Neil Young

This album is full of great lyrics and songs with the first half more acoustic and second turning electric with heavier songs. It starts and ends with different versions of hey hey, my my, the first with an acoustic and harmonicas and the ending one is a wall of electric guitars. Thrasher on this album also has one of my favourite set of lyrics ever. Standout songs, Thrasher, Pocahontas, Hey Hey, My My

Now: Carrie and Lowell by Sufjan Stevens

This was released last year but I’m still listening to it a fair bit. it’s a pretty sparse, melancholic album but the songs are really captivating with the melodies and lyrics. It was inspired by the death of his mother, Carrie who depression, schizophrenia, and substance abuse and abandoned him when he was a kid. Standout songs, Death with dignity, Fourth of july, John my beloved

Coming Up: Trick by Jamie T

Although it has just been released like last week  now but good for him to have another so soon after the last one, Standout songs, Sign of the Times, Solomon Eagle, Self Esteem

Then: Lord of The Rings

The amount of times I must have watched them as a kid/teenager!

Now: Schindler’s List

I watched this one a while ago but it’s such a great film especially if you love history.

Coming Up: I haven’t watched many films recently but the Fantastic Beasts and where to find them in December should be a bit of nostalgia back to watching all the Harry Potter films.

Then: Fosters home for Imaginary Friends

This was one on cartoon network I think but I remember watching it a lot and it was pretty crazy and funny.

Now: Game of Thrones

Although hard to avoid spoilers if you go near the internet!

Coming Up: I don’t watch much TV to be honest and struggling to think of anything but Jools Holland is on again soon and there’s always a pretty eclectic mix of music on there.

Stephen Shore

One of my favourite photographers with the way he manages to capture often mundane everyday moments that often have a filmic quality to them with strong narratives.
